ERASMUS+ Incoming students
If you are considering to get your Erasmus+ study exchange experience and an opportunity to live and study in Porto, Portugal then ESMAE is the right school for you.
Each year ESMAE receives a large number of Erasmus applications and welcomes about 50 Erasmus students per year. You could be one of them! This could become an unforgettable journey that would give you an opportunity to live and study in Porto and spend a semester or even a full study year at ESMAE.

Application conditions
ESMAE uses an online nomination and application system for incoming exchange students.
All applications should be submitted via the EASY application platform.
Applications sent by regular mail will not be accepted.
Required information/documents to upload in the EASY tool:
• Motivation letter
• Recommendation letters (optional)
• Transcript of records
• Audio/Video recording (10 or 15 minutes) or portfolio (Theater Department, Composition/Music Department)
You also have to submit your OLA (online learning agreement) in the EWP (Erasmus Without Paper) dashboard/app - https://www.learning-agreement.eu/

Winter semester / Summer semester / Whole academic year:

Every Erasmus application is thoroughly evaluated by a selection commission.
Selection results are known latest by early-June and will be communicated to you through our online tool until end of June.
Please note, if you’ve been accepted as an Erasmus exchange student at ESMAE, but for any reason you can’t accept this place, you should notify the ESMAE International Office no later than 20th of July: international@esmae.ipp.pt
